I just got back from a gig with a small band in a small room (yeah I know, I’m moving up in the music world lol). I decided to just take my Ghia and my 1X12 Creamback cab. I’m never brave enough to attempt a gig without pedals, and especially without my trusty transparent compressor. I thought I’d be brave tonight and man was I happy with my tele tone! This amp is fabulous all on its own! Tone was 12:00 and Volume at 9:00.
Tonight I used my guitar’s tone knob constantly and payed closer attention to my picking dynamics than ever than before.

I guess it's the best way to use this amp and maybe it was designed with this exact purpose in mind? I don't know, maybe some expert or the Doctor himself can tell us more, but it's one of the most appreciated "plug & play" amps in the guitar world.
