Played an outdoor show today and took my Z-28. This was my first show w the WGS C/S 10 inside and full band gig w the ES-137. Both covered the bases well and left the Tele in the stand for the duration of the sets. Interestingly enough the sound guy, who is a lefty guitarist, told me a break I could bring the treble down bc it was cutting through the mix so well. I don't think of the '28 as a bright amp but I did agree with the top end being present in spades. I rolled the T back for the second set and found I preferred the tones I was getting without using my board and just grinding harder on the guitar. Love this combo. It's great for working Joe players.

Looks cool! Your tour manager looks a little young if she's the one in the pink "On Tour" jacket.
I'm guessing this gig wasn't in the Northeast. It doesn't look necessarily warm where you are, but it's a chilly 35 degrees here in Philly right now.

I wanted the es 137 custom with the varitone bad when I was a teenager. Still hope to find one, but they don’t pop up often around here.

My settings today in the morning. I had no clicks on the brake lite. Such a great sound! Perfect balance of bass to treble for where we play.
