Michael Burks. By far one of my favorite blues guys and by far my favorite Z player. In fact I had never heard of Dr. Z until many years ago while I was watching him play live and thought "what the hell is a Z?"..been hooked ever since.
Anyway, I've seen him use different models of Z's, but in this video he has 2 red ones. Anyone know which model they are? Also, listen to the sustain on the bent note at 4:28. damn! And I know it's a long video, but the different ranges of emotions he expresses just blows me away every time. Such a shame he passed away relatively recently. Such a talent. Such a shame.

He actually used two SRZs together and 2 Delta 88s together. Here he is in Doc's shop with a pair of KT45s

Here's a pic of my "Tower of Power" - 2 Delta 88s (the red one is a Michael Burks Tribute Delta 88) and a Surgical. They are killers with an OD pedal in front of them!

Very nice "Tower of Power", Mike! What's the difference between the regular Delta 88 and the MB 88? Lately I've been on this quest to get my tone from the amp alone, without the excess of pedals/pedal board/etc. It was the main reason I searched for so long, and finally landed the Monza. I'd rather spend my time flowing and enjoying playing, than stomping on different pedals. I'm kind of a pure tone kind of player, and I like my tone/muscle to come from the amp itself and not external sources; I like natural tone. I guess I liken it to a bodybuilder flexing his natural muscles, as opposed to someone that is flexing Steroid-filled muscles -- natural is more organic. Yeah, that's it. Organic amp tones...that's my thing! But really if it sounds good, it sounds good, regardless of how it got there. I just try to get there with less items in the path. An example of (the opposite) of this came last night when I went to watch a friend's band play. His guitar player was playing on a little Line 6 amp and a POD HD 500. I have to say that the tone was so processed and dull and flat and annoying -- in fact I wouldn't call it tone, but rather just sound. Even though he was a pretty decent player, I just didn't enjoy it. That's not to say a digital amp can't sound okay (I have had a couple Line 6 amps in my day, and I have a POD HD 500 that i sometimes use to practice songs quietly in the room), but rather to say that when you add so many things to the chain -- well , bye bye organic. But hey, that's just my preference! HOWEVER, I have heard a lot of players (including MB) that use pedals that sound amazingly good. I'm definitely not against them and I even use a Timmy to boost the Monza occasionally when things get chaotic and I need a little push for the solo. I guess my main point here is I'd rather start with something closer to the natural tone i want, than to keep adding things to an amp that isn't close in order to get there.

Not really much difference between my Delta 88 and the MB Tribute - basically just looks. If you like the natural driven sound, try an original Prescription if you get a chance. great cleans and natural break-up when you push the volume up.

I'll have to try the Prescription if I ever get the chance, although I like the grit without the volume. And that's why I went with the Monza!
