What an honor to be called up to play at the end. My bucket list musically has been met folks. We could have played three blind mice and I woulda been thrilled. So, he jokes of course: "Boy that Jimmy sure is skinny but he looks good wit dat strat hanging on him,,, you know me and him could go on the road and call ourselves the number "10". Buds guitar player had a hot rod deluxe,,, we are having a prayer meeting for him about "Z" amps,,, a pleasant time was had by all...

When did this happen and how come I am only finding out about this NOW? This was last Wednesday at Brues Ale House in Pueblo. Had a string of gigs up that way with my pals The Atomic Fireballs and Jimmy stopped by and sat in on a couple.

Aw man, sorry. I usually do a week or two with The Fireballs at some point in the year, it just kinda snuck up on me this time and I didn't post the dates. Trying to get ready for 8 festivals in Spain with my bud Santiago Campillo, then about 36 dates opening for John Mayall in the UK, looking forward to getting back out and WORKING some.

BW, That sounds like more than Some work. Living the dream, sounds fun.

I still love going out and doing gigs, but it kinda 'is what it is' when you're a nobody like me! First time I have been overseas in several years after a self-imposed break and working pretty much locally, I used to go a couple of times a year but the last trip kinda took its toll on us all, we had a few good gigs but a lot of times we were just playing for room and board (such as it was, youth hostels and rooms in the red light district of Copenhagen) and whatever we took at the door to get us to the 'anchor date' that made the week worthwhile. I just had to re-assess, make up my mind if it was 'worth it'. The gigs in Spain and the Mayall tour stops are all quality venues, even though our set is about 45 minutes I am happy to have another shot at being part of an actual tour as opposed to 'any port in a storm' mentality thought up by a booking agent that isn't having to bed down in those sketchy rooms.

Hope all goes well for you BW, you've composed quite a few enjoyable songs and that are also fun to play. I'm sure those "Sausages of Tone" fingers of yours will win over a lot more fans. Have fun on the other side of the pond.
