Anyone else notice this? Not but a couple of hours on my Cure and maybe it's just new tube smell, but she does seem to run a tad on ther hot side. To be expected, maybe, with 2 6V6's in a small cab.

Yes the CURE does run a bit on the hot side. But the effect of the damping rings and the new Red JJ paint will give off a smell which will go away with time. Make sure the CURE has proper ventilation not up against a wall, and all will be fine.

Mine runs hot as well. I always run a fan on me when I play as I too run hot, and to keep my hands dry and the farts at bay. I usually just move the Cure in front of the fan and blast away. Just love that level control, does anyone know how it actually works?

I thought the same thing about mine and didn't think it was just my imagination. Didn't smell bad, just smelled a little hot if you will. Glad to know it's normal.
