I know they are definitely very different amps, but I have a ghia and want to know what are the biggest differences, say if the DB4 was in low power mode with the same wattage as the ghia.
I'm a strat player mostly.

Great question....the DB4 in a combo seems like an awesome gig amp. I bet it's a bit darker than a Ghia from Docs description.....

Yes, they are both very different amps and you would really need to hear them side by side to determine which one is preferred. Both awesome amps, both different sounds. Worthy of having both (IMO) unless finances or some reason dictates otherwise. I know that if I ever have the opportunity to pick up a DB4 again, I definitely will....

I would love to hear a side by side comparison of the two. Similar to what Dave Baker did with the Db4 and Z-Wreck.

The tone control on the Ghia, versus the 5 way tone switch on the DB4 would be a great addition to that video.
