Anybody run one this way? Looked online and haven't really seen anything on it.

I don't see how this could be a bad thing. I would love to hear this.

A lot of us are at the point in our lives where we are trying to downsize our gear to match the gigs we actually play and to match our ability to carry said gear.
I am sure a Zwreck through my Ampeg 4x12 would be GLORIOUS but . . . . no way am I going to carry that around any longer.
Honestly, the Wreck sounds rather fantastic through the 2x12 or a Zbest or in the combo form too. I am not sure I could ever crank up the 4x12 enough to really let it roar anyway.
My 2 cents

I get you on moving a 4x12- I currently play through a Mesa 2x12 closed back cab. I had a zbest cab for a while but sold it. Strangely I preferred the Mesa to the zbest but I digress. I was completely sold on the smaller rig/ lighter rig thing for a time but as my band got smaller I have way more sonic space I can take up so I am a little greedy in taking up every bit of the frequency spectrum I can. Also a little more thump is never a bad thing. As I am still young enough and fit enough to move it around for now I figure I might as well. Kinda wanted to see if anyone else is rolling with a 4x12 and a wreck first.

I think a 4x12 cab with get everyone in my loud band telling me to turn down. Dave Baker's rig with Kelli Pickler was a 2x12 cab and a 2 x 10 cab, which isn't the same thing, of course. You can see his rig run down hereI don't know anyone who is using a 4x12 cab with the Wreck, so it will be interesting to hear what others say. Most Wreck owners who gig, seem to want to go smaller, as in a 1x12 rather than bigger, to tame the volume.

Yeah, not really a volume thing I was thinking about... just a "bigness" you can get with some 4x12 cabs. Don't get me wrong, a zbest cab or my 2x12 recto cab sound huge and anything is gonna sound massive in a good PA system but there is a certain thump and chunk you get with a 4x12 that's hard to replicate.

there is just no need when it comes with the best speaker configuration in the world already... IMHO

Just ran my Z Wreck through my favorite Marshall 4X12.
Sounds nice and big but looses something in the spankiness, for lack of a better word.
The open back celestion blue or gold thing is where this amp shines.
BTW, the 4X12 is loaded with well broken in G1280's from the 80's, closed back of coarse. My favorite go to cab for my 100w Plexi.
