I'm thinking I need to replace my tubes... I was getting some weird frequency noises and some notes and registers and i thought it was the design of the cab as its so small. But i'm now looking to replace all the tubes to see if that helps.
Any recommendations?
Just stick with JJ's? Tung sol i hear are good?

I almost always go with that the good DR. recommends - he's knows what works in his amps!

I would just stick with what the Doc recommends.

I think I have a tube going in my Cure...
Can anyone confirm that I can replace with a matched set without adjust the bias since the amp is cathode? I'm assuming so, but want to make sure this thing stays as perfect as it has before the tube started failing.
Thanks!

If you want the same headroom/response look at the rating on the side of the tube base. It's a 2 digit number. Order a new set and request that rating and you will have the same sound as before. Higher the number, the higher the headroom. There is no bias adjustment necessary, regardless of tube rating, the same is cathode biased.
