I have a Ghia 2x10 combo, and I was thinking about buying a 2x10 cabinet to use with it. What do you guys think? Does anyone use a ghia with 4x10's?

The sound will definitely be HUGE.

Also you could load it with lower db speakers for smaller venues

Howdy,
I would want a speaker cab with different sized speakers from my combo for verstility. Your 4x10 idea is worth a look. I'm keen on my 1x12 Z cab with my Ghia head. Currently I've got a Celestion blue in it and she sounds great. Good luck!

I had a 4x10 cab with a Ghia head for awhile. The Docs speakers are rated at 70 watts each (240 watts handling in a 4x10 configuration). At 18 watts, the Ghia didn't seem to be able to push them like it can with a lower wattage speaker.

I mainly use a ghia with a Dr z 4x10 cab packed with Ramrods. It sounds awesome and the ghia pushes perfectly. Those speakers are rated at 100db so they are super loud and that's good if you have a loud drummer. Even without a loud drummer you wanna have the ability to have enough power. Do it.
