I managed to get the last one in stock at Long & Mcquade in Edmonton south tonight! Should be on route by tomorrow morning... looking forward to hearing it with the Z wreck. ill post demos too after I spend some "tone time" with it. Totally stoked! How many of you guys use it with your Z Wreck? What are your thoughts?
Cheers!

I've tried a lot of pedals thru the wreck but in the end I liked the amp with none... I'm hoping this one will be the one, we'll see. cheers!

In the end something about using an overdrive with my z wreck never felt right to me. My Z drive is still on my board, but I'm currently using a TC Electronic Spark Drive with the wreck and have it set to mid boost on the pedal with the volume cranked and drive set to very low.
Then again I usually have the option to turn the wreck's volume wherever I want thanks to the brake lite and our typical venue sizes. To some that don't have the luxury the z drive might be just right to help get what they want at lower volumes.
The wreck reaches max volume around noon to me and after that it just adds gain. At that point you don't really need more volume, just something to smack the tubes harder, bring up the mids, and tighten the low end and you've got yourself a solo tone.
With that setup I've got the guitar's volume knob to give me cleans with hair, guitar volume all the way back up for punch in the choruses, and hit a boost for solos.
Just some thoughts on how you could apply the z drive with the wreck in a musically practical way. Also the wreck seems to like the red side of the z drive with the drive and volume at noon, mids boosted to around 3-4 o clock, treble and bass at noon. Nice, tight 80's hair metal tone haha

I matched the EQ of the amp with the pedal and then went from there...green cut switch is in up position and red cut switch is in the down position, with the Z WRECK. drive half way up on the green side and drive 3 o'clock on the red side. sounds amazing to my ears! cheers!
