Yesterday I played a gig in a realy small location. I knew that I would have to keep my Ghia at a very low volume and so I was not sure it was the right amp for this gig. But I gave it a try anyway. I had to use the green channel of my Z-Drive to add some hair to my sound. For solos I used the red channel (for rock and roll) or a Keeley Blues Drive (for singing blues). What shell I say -it sounded great!! I missed nothing and I've got many compliments for my sound. So don't worry if you have to play in a mousehole: this combination will work perfectly.

Who makes the Z drive? Is it EQD? Does it sound like the Ghia when it's cranked?

Check it out on the Dr Z website. I don't have one yet but I am sure the quality and durability is what you would expect.
