DC here Today monday 2016-08-08 around 14:30 pm - the Z-Wreck arrived. Packed it up - checked that it worked - mmm looks good. New amps is like new cars - there is a certain smell about them - you know what I mean I'm sure, . Tomorrow I will bring it down to the rehearsal studio for a real test-drive. Will be excating. I will need an Airbrake or my Weber MiniMass to tame the volume. Cheers: Dixiechicken!

DC here!
Just fired it up at home - bedroom volume - to check it survived the transport. I can tell it will be loud though already - maybe maybe a Weber MiniMass or Break-Lite is next on line - lols
Cheers: Dixiechicken!

You don't get much above 8:30 on the dial before it jumps at you.

Yeah, if you're gonna use it "live" or at a reasonable volume with any "hair", you'll need that attentuator.
Enjoy it man, I really miss mine!

Polar opposite against your Route 66. Pretty too. First one I've seen in the blue with the ZWreck grill cloth. They used to have the big weave black. Brake-Lite on 2 clicks is great loud home volume......4 clicks is great for late night! Looking forward to your new impressions. Enjoy!~

On my computer it looks blue now...... I never was a fan of the black grill cloth with the blue tolex. This one looks fabulous (well, to those of us whom such things matter )

Enjoy that Z and congratulations.
Playing my Zwreck, formerly Telejas with a Fryette Powerstation. Great attenuator/re-amper that lets you crank it up as much as you want. Even louder if you need it. Also has an efx loop post output stage.

DC here! No the Tolex is not black its blue - you can check it out on ProGuitar. www.proguitar.de/ProGuitar.de/Z-Wreck_Combo.htmlYesterday I fired it up at the rehearsal studio - two guy from one of the other bands were down there going through 6-7 new songs for their outfit so I joined in. It sounds awesome with my Warmoth Telecaster - but loud (suspected as much) Volume at 11:30 - Bass at 2:00 clock - Treble at 11:00 o'Clock - Cut at 12:00 o'Clockso I have ordered a Brake Lite from Ron at Proguitar Today I will go down to the studio and check it out with my pedalboard. Life is good - Cheers: Dixiechicken!

DC here! Of course looks matter To cite the fabulous mt Billy Gibbons - "the women go crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man" I actually choose this the blue one precisely because I think it looks way cooler. I guess I'm a bit vain after all I remember a comment in Facebook from the local bluesjam a few years ago - from a "fellow comrade in guitars" - he was commenting a picture with me in it on stage: "Always sharp dressed that man" I have to plead guilty I guess - I always dress up a bit for the stage - lols Cheers: Dixiechicken!

Look forward to that Brake Lite... I fell in love with my Z all over again after I got it.
Oh... and yes... I've definitely played through that very amp at Ron's. It sounds fantastic!

DC here! Thought I'd uppload som pics and sounds to show you guys & girls - lols I will immediately apologize for my playing its not exactly consistent The clips are recorded to usb-stick through my Soundcraft UI16 digital mixing console. They are edited in Audacity to 16 bit wav-format and I cut out silence. (recoded in 24-bit mode I think)The mic is a high quality swedish made condenser mike place some 15 cm from the speaker element. The Z-Wreck is placed directly on the floor - accounts for the pronounced bass I guess. The Rout66 is placed on chair half metre up from the floor. In the pics you will see the settings on the amps - I play my Warmoth Telecaste with the bridge pickup Volume and tone controls dimed. First parts of the soundclips is playde with the volume dimed on the guitar - second part I have turned the volume knob down on the guitar - like I do when I play in the band - going between ryth & soloing Route66Z-WreckEnjoy! Cheers: Dixiechicken!
