I received my new DB4 head last Thursday. Was too sick to open the box until Saturday. But what awaited me is pure magic.
What a fine amp, green jewel light and all. And the half-power switch makes for one amazing 18w amp. I could see some players being completely satisfied with just half a DB4. Takes pedals like a dream too.
Thank You Doc, it's a very special thing to me that you signed the chassis. It will always be a reminder to me of hard work, and determination.
For those of you who have yet to try it, this amp is fantastic!
Thanks Again Mr Zaite! t.y.

Yes, I was pretty messed up. But I had a great 5 day trip to Oregon to visit my sister. I think it was the insomnia for four days, and the nine hour drive. I have lung problems from exhaust and smoke damage. So in the 95 degree heat of the central valley, I was really in a bad way.
Knowing the DB4 was in transit while I was gave me energy though. I stopped drinking coffee about a month ago, after 35 yrs. of caffeine abuse. It sure is nice now, but sometimes I'm flat out exhausted.
Sorry no pictures, but I'm old school (as in no cell phone/camera). My Avatar is all I can show. thanks

I was in the high desert, in Bend. Beautiful area, and quite a contrast to my house on the bay.

I use a Creamback. Or a 12" Gold. 2 10" Golds sound great as well. But mostly the Creamback M65.
