What a day!
The amp was suppose to arrive on Monday, then Tuesday. Last night they gave me the 2 hour delivery window. I waited around at the studio all day. It never came!
Then FedEx emails me and tells me "It will be delivered tomorrow." Are you kidding me? I called them to find out what was going on and they told me I could go down and pick it up, which I did. It turns out, it got loaded onto the wrong truck!
I was suppose to have 4 hours with her today, but only ended up with about 45 minutes, not long enough to say anything substantial. I won't know that until I get a gig or two out of her. But here are some initial thoughts:
1. It is BIG. The head is way bigger than I expected. I mean huge!
2. The cleans are great and it will do all the clean country stuff that I struggle to get out of my Remedy.
3. The dirt seems like it will work perfectly for me. I was worried that it might not be my thing, that I might have an experience like Telejas had with his DB4. But after cranking the volume hard right and hitting an open A chord, that worry utterly evaporated into thin air.
4. It is loud! I don't know if it is louder than the Remedy, which I run at 40 watts with the master wide open, but it seemed like it was.
5. I think I may be selling my Remedy, but it is too early to tell.
6. The Tremolo is throbolicious!
7. Serial #010, so it must have been one of the first ones ordered by Guitar Riot.
I get more time with her on Wednesday and Friday, then it is off to Wyoming to gig her. I will keep you posted

Glad you're enjoying it. It's a great amp--I don't know how to phrase it other than to say it has a very modern, professional tone, while still being true to its vintage forebears. I know you're not a pedal guy, but it just kills with a good overdrive, too.

l got to spend about 2 hours with her today....so far. There really isn't a bad tone in this amp, and I haven't even got the master up past ten o'clock.
My pedal board is plugged into it, but I'm not using anything but my compressor and the amp Reverb and tremolo. I use tremolo a lot, and this tremolo on this amp is stellar.
I'm 95% convinced that this will work for everything I need it to. the big test will be the date on Saturday, but so far it sounds incredible with my Nash T 57

wrong truck...who gets fired for this...how...anyways...that's torcher. Everybody at FedEx was very apologetic from the girl on the phone to the person I met when I went to the FedEx facility. It was torture, but I realized it wasn't their fault. It was the guitar player truck driver who thought he was going to be able to play my amp at his house. I blame him

I know you're not a pedal guy, but it just kills with a good overdrive, too. Well, I love pedals. But the Remedy got me to the place where I didn't need pedals for my dirt... and that's a nice place. The truth of the matter for me is I don't need lots of dirt...just good dirt. THE Zlux has that for sure. but I won't be taking my Greer Lightspeed overdrive off my pedal board that's for sure.

Here is a picture of the head with a Z cab. I thought the colors would clash, but I'm starting to dig the two tone thing.

Really cool. Seeing it on top of that cab , I was a little surprised to see how big it is ( I know you mentioned it , but your pic gives the real perspective ).

Really cool. Seeing it on top of that cab , I was a little surprised to see how big it is. Right? It is HUGE compared to the Remedy and Therapy and some of the other heads I've seen. I was surprised too. I haven't seen the combo in person, but I'm guessing it is big for a 1x12 combo? My nice padded studio slip won't work for the Z-lux, which means I need a new one. I have a friend who does custom upholstery work, and he had made custom amp covers for me in the past, and even re-tolexed a couple of cabs for me. He does great work but he just moved to Phoenix.

LALALALALALALALA....I HEAR NOTHING....LALALALALALALA Seriously congrats! The trem works the same on Fenders, has to be plugged in. Couldn't you just plug in a dummy plug and leave the trem on all the time, or will that not work? Been meaning to try it on mine. I haven't played my Fenders in a long time, but I thought once you turned on the trem with the plug in, the trem would then stay on even when you unplugged it. I'm not exactly a circuitry wizard and would prefer not to have to call the fire department.

Did you have to short the plug first to make it work?

Yes, the plug has to be shorted center to ground.

To the OP and others interested I've used a shorted plug in my Lux tremelo input with no problems since I got it about a month ago.
