Never did it, and Transformer would need to be swapped to accomplish that switch. So non standard switch and non factory Power Transformer.
Also " Goofy Racing Stripe and Electric Z " , also sat in my closet for 10 years, but sounds FANTASTIC.... yeah right. That circa amp sold new for $499.00 direct , I would be leery about that cat.

and didn't they have a partial back plate with the ohm value? i also don't see the serial number. that would be nice to see in a listing picture. did they have detachable power cords when they were still just one speaker jack?

I think they had a mesh grate type cover on the back at that point. At least the junked '97 I bought and returned did. So does my Rx. That CG I returned also had an attached power chord with the one 8 ohm jack.

I just had a little correspondence with the guy who has this amp. After doing so he posted some pics of the transformers,both of which say z???
