I know many of you are still waiting for yours, but I have some questions for those that have played a Ghia. Since it is an amp I have played, I'm curious to see how the DB4 compares.
When the DB4 is on half power: How do the volume levels compare? If the volume of each were at 9, 12, and 3 o'clock, which would be louder. Do they break up at similar levels? Which one breaks up first? How do the breakup sounds compare? Do they have much overlap in tone?
Yes, lots of questions, but any input would be much appreciated. Thanks!!

I have the capability to--and should--do this comparison.
My first reactions, though, would be that the DB4's mids seem much more "forward" and full than the Ghia's. Also, I think the Ghia's cleans are way more "chimey" and "pretty," if you will. Both amps sound awesome through a Blue (half power on the DB4) or Gold, though.. so this would be a worthwhile investigation.

Was kinda wondering myself. I adore my Carmen Ghia, but can't help but wonder how it compares to the new DB4 tonally.
