After two months of researching the Ghia I've decided to pull the trigger on a head. Only thing holding me back is color choice lol. Who would have thought! Thinking about surf green since I have a red Therapy head / cab. I swear I didn't know this would be such an issue with me.

If I were wanting to keep the red motif but change things up a bit I'd go with red/ZWreck grill cloth.

I love surf green guitars, have a surf green paisley sparkle Crook on order, but maybe not so much amps I think. Dr. Z's red tolex is really hard to pass up. There's just something about it.
Soooo, RED it is! So glad my wife doesn't have my password to this forum!

I like all the Dr. Z colors EXCEPT that green. I would think, though it is just a hunch, that if and when you decided to sell it, the Green might slow the sale down.

Soooo, RED it is! So glad my wife doesn't have my password to this forum! The advantage of going red is she won't know it is a new amp, as long as you don't have both out at the same time!

What Mike said...I've had every color of Z and the green was the only one that didn't ring my bell. Fortunately, I traded my green for a blonde to a good fella here on Z-Talk who wanted the green as much as I wanted the blonde, so it worked out perfectly. I think the green looks a lot better in pictures than in real life. Love my reds, blondes, and my black Z-Lux!
The most important thing is that ya get yourself a Ghia. You won't regret it, very few do.

I love my ghia. Just got it a few weeks ago and have gigged it 4 times already and it's a killer tone. Loud as well but even with the dial turned down it produces a great thick tone and takes my pedals great. I love it

Howdy, Forgive my lack of tact, but order, plug in and PLAY that baby. Worry about the color later

I personally love the Surf Green, go for it. I do have a red M12, and it is nice, but my heart is always swayed by surf green.
