I've been using my Z 1X12 Creamback 65 can and have been LOVING it. Today I had an outdoors gig and decided to take my Z 2X12 with a stock vin 30 and a g12. I don't know if it was the lack of acoustics or what but I wasn't completely satisfied with that cab. I think I've found my home with the Creamback 1X12 and might sell the 2X12 to buy and extra Creamback cab. Just don't know yet

Go with what fits you...but why not swap out the speakers in the bigger can so you both options? I love my Therapy with the Canabis Rex but wouldn't mind a different flavor once in awhile. Every time I make a rash decision in gear it seems I chase my tail for a bit till realize what I was really after.
That said....speaker preference really does effect what we listen for. I had an Eminence GB128 in my cab for a bit and just never liked how it colored the Therapy....felt like it took away the tone stake options. When I got the C. Rex, it felt better again.
I'm rambling....no fun playing a gig not connected to the sound. Outdoor gigs can be the worst for sound escaping the stage.

You know how it is, every room and every stage is different. I would take it out a couple more times before you hand down the final verdict on the cabinet itself.

The Celestion V-30 (a speaker I usually hate) sounds AMAZING in the Therapy.....

I gotta agree with KC on this one...my Therapy sounds like King Kong with my EVM12-L Thiele cab. It's compact and is a marvelous combo.

I agree with every reply so far, only problem is I'm kind of putting a hold on my instrument spending right now. If I had the money I would buy each and every speaker mentioned but since I've had at least 4 gigs with my Creamback cab with extremely pleasing results I have to stick with what I know at the moment.
I'm the guy who tends to stay put with gear I like and only spend money to find satisfaction. I could chase tone and experiment for the rest of my life, but doing that only pulls me away from the enjoyment I get from just playing.
I don't remember being let down by my 2X12 cab but I've also never used it outdoors. Maybe that was the problem.

IF you HAVE to make a change....you have two very popular speakers in the 2x12 and I'm sure you could essentially trade them for creambacks if you like...private party to private party.

That's actually a great idea simpleton. I think I'll give that a try on this forum and it will be my first time too. These are popular speakers but I've decide their not for me after doing the A/B thing at home. Thanks!

I dig the Creamback, V30 and Gold with the Therapy.
