Hi, just snagged an Rx ES head as well as an Airbrake. Should get them this weekend. I'm in Sydney Australia. I know a great amp tech who could probably do the master vol mod easily, but is there anything specific about how Dr Z does it that I can specify? Also the Cut mod? Cheers Priddo

Congratulations on the acquisition of the RX ES. I love mine. Mine does not have the MV or the Cut Mod. I use an airbrake and can keep it within volume limitations on stage. I have used it with a 1x12 Convertible Cab, and with a 4x10 cab. Sounds excellent with either. David

This amp is great sounding with a gold in it. Tracii Guns ( formerly of GnR and LA Guns) used this combo for a while. Very loud amp! Wanna ask me how I know?? Several of us here have his combos that were replaced with Remedies.

I use mine with the Air Brake. I've not felt the need to get the MV mod, fwiw.

Amp arrived. Used brake light with it successfully but I have an Airbrake coming soon. Incredible amp. I love it with my Gretsch Nashville, 52 Tele, ES 335 with Lollar Imperials. That's three distinct pickup/guitar configurations. It's great with a variety of pedals. My 2 X 10 cab has WGS G10C speakers which are loud and bright (loud bright amp to begin with). I wonder what Alnico Golds would be like to tame the highs and round things out?
