Some quick pics from last night off my iPad (not the best camera!) In front of my Marshall '62 Bluesbreaker 2x12 combo - you can see you are going to need to be wearing "big boy pants" to play the Zagato version (2x12 Blues combo)!! More pics this weekend

The pictures don't do it justice - it's even bigger (and badder) than the pics look like! Love it!

Nice, I don't buy combos but that's the one amp that I would break that rule for. However, I already have a Z 212 with Blues so a head will be in order when it's time.

You're going to have to put that fella out in the big room to let it breathe. Congrats on the new amp, Mike!

Super cool.......so is the Zagato name what you're using as a nickname for the 2x12 combo? Same basic amp as a regular DB4?

The amp is the same - it's the fact that it is the top of the line high performance (because of the 2x12 Blues in it). Doc and/or Brad (not sure which) coined the term and I kinda like it.

Yes it is one and the same. I called it the "Bluesbreaker" because it defines the cab size/design so it paints a mental picture to a customer of what it is. Brad wanted to add the " Zagato" moniker to explain the special high performance design , as in the race version of the Aston Martin DB 4 Zagato.
Both work I just thought the Bluesbreaker would be a bit more descriptive to a Guitar Player, and a player may not be aware of the reference to the Ultra Cool DB 4 Zagato .

Is it still a Zagato if it has the half-power switch?

There's a red one at Humbucker. Pretty sure my wife would notice, though.

Is it still a Zagato if it has the half-power switch? In my best Jackie Gleason voice. " to da moon Mike , to da moon......"

Are the 2 Blues running 16 ohm? How is 38 Z watts possible with 30 watts of Blues?

Because the Celestion 15 watt Blue is underrated for warranty purposes. They can do at least 20 watts each all day.

Ah, Thanks for seeing me Doc. I'm really looking forward to this one. A little gift to myself, for my 30th year of sobriety. Red head ordered from Humbucker - 5/1/16. I'd love it if you'd autograph it for posterity.

Ah Z, your exquisite taste even transcends to cars I see..............the DB4 is one of the most beautiful cars ever made, and the Zagato even more so! In fact the name alone is SUPER COOL!

So, Mike, how's it sound? "Wonderful", "fantastic" and the like are not acceptable. We want details and comparisons!
