Probably for the Doc to answer...
Is the rotary tone knob a continuously variable turning knob...like a Ghia?
Or does the knob 'click' into place? (and you get that sound, and only the cut is used from then on.) Meaning there are no 'in between' tones? (you can't select...say...1.5)

Hey John - if you go back to the Paisley video - when he is first demoing the rotary function you can actually hear it clicking as he takes it back to position one. My guess is it is discrete settings and not variable.
