Wow. Wanted to try that for a while, and I did today. My El Capistan delay plugged into my two Z (Z-Lux and Maz 8) and me sitting in between. Great experience. The roundness of the Z-Lux, its kind of softness, and the more biting thing the Maz can do. Add my new to me Analogman KOT (thanks to ericatunc), a big muff style fuzz (SolidGoldFx Imperial) and a wah and I was in tone heaven!

Up next--three amps! Always wanted to try this myself, but I don't think I can make it happen.
Think of this: guitar into delay set for very slight (virtually unnoticeable) slapback > bypass (un-delayed) signal into center amp set clean > wet (delayed) signal into overdrive, then into stereo chorus > L & R from stereo chorus into L & R amps. Lots of big-time pros do this; never done it myself but I bet it's awesome.

Stereo is my favorite...especially with a looper.

You guys mean that I have to buy a third Dr Z (I mean a third amp)? Could be the new DB4, I'm sure I would feel like 007 driving this one. But I guess the #007 has already been sold. Who owns it?

It works fantastic, especially when using a stereo Leslie sim. That's really the only way to get a real Doppler effect. I only used that setup a couple of times because although it sounds great onstage by the time you are 30 feet or so from the stage you can't tell the difference. I wound up changing to a stereo 2x12 cab and running my overdrive on one side and my clean mod/delay/reverb sound on the other. A simpler, smaller footprint on stage and it works about as good. I'm setting up a system like that right now for a guy who is getting ready to tour. He is using a pair of RI Deluxe Reverbs because that is what he already owns but I am trying to convert him to Z amps.
