Ghia with Celestion G10 Gold

It has been said before but I finally put together my Ghia 1x10, I had time this afternoon to install a G10 Gold that I ordered from Sweetwater last week.  It sounds fantastic.  It was great out of the box, has chime on low volume and nice grind on high volume.  I was getting some really good ABB/Warren Haynes tones on the neck pickup WFO.  It is a good thing my in laws were visiting this afternoon...

It it even handled drop D tuning, I was impressed how good it sounded for a 10" speaker.  

I I also got some really nice Jazzy tones with the volume low and the tone at about 2 o'clock.  The celestion really opened up a lot of new tones out of the Ghia.

I've got to get one of those. Love my Red Fang and Ramrod too, but I heard a CG with the Gold and it's really special.

I had a red fang in it, it was good don't get me wrong but it was just a bit "too much" for me anyway. The gold had me hooked on the first chord.

When I had a Ghia with the ten inch speaker I went from the red fang to the gold. I like the red fang but the Gold was much better.
