To all the Ray guys when I told them that I didn't like the Ray 1X12 combo? Well, I still don't, but............. I LOVE THE 2X12 COMBO!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's the sound I was hoping to hear when I plugged into the 1X12 version! I've found that I just don't like 1X12's much. I like to hear the interaction of a couple of speakers in the same cab, hence all the 2X12 cabs I've got kickin' around The low end is unreal! The chime! It's just an amazing, amazing amp. So, I'm on the hunt for a Head and 2X12 cab with Blues in it. Black w/Blonde faceplate. I've already posted some gear in the B S & T, including my Maz Sr I know it's the right thing to do, but I'm gonna miss her a lot. So let's hear it, I'm cringing in the corner waiting for the "I told ya so's" It's O.K. cause.......................... I'm joinin' the club

I think that's a good idea. The combo sounds great but they sure are heavy.

This way I can use the Ghia with the 2X12 Blues cab ;D. We tried it with Richerays 2X12 combo and the Ghia sounded amazing!!!

That Z open-back with Blues in it is simply amazing. Running my Stingray here through a couple of Golds is no slouch either.
'Rayville is a great place to be Jason.

Told you so.
Actually I told you to hold on to it a bit longer because not liking a Z seemed wrong, but if you found what you want go for it.

JWR, I looked at a few 65 amps a while back but actually went with a vintage Bassman or a Maz, can't remember.
Anyway, what's your take on them? I'll be honest, the one I played thru just didn't really do it for and for that money?? I know this isn't a 65 forum but just wanted your opinion.
I might look again in the future.
