I picked up my 2x10 Ghia last month, but this weekend was the first chance I've had to hear it in a mix. Holy moley! I played with a loud drummer and a really loud bass player for a few hours. The Carmen Ghia fit in there perfectly! I mainly played my PRS SC250, and the bass players 339 a bit, but damn, anything I played sounded so good. No pedals, with the volume about 3 o'clock. I had a z28 head before, but unfortunately had to sell it. Not really regretting it now that I've got this. I couldn't be happier with this amp. Just wanted to share.

Welcome to the Forum - a lot of great info and people here! That Ghia is a great amp - I have two of them! Of course, we will need pics of your rig?

Howdy,
Congrats, Craig87. The Ghia is more fun than M&Ms. Volume at 3 O'clock? Go man, Go!

The Ghia's just a wonderful amp. I love the simplicity and the huge variety of tone it makes. Amazing little amplifier.

Don't stop with just a Ghia; get something to go with it - like a Z28, Monza, or a big glassZ - whatever.
They ALL sound good; you just have to find the ones that match your tastes.

I'm really happy with my Ghia, but I am finding I'm liking the sound of my tele's more than my guitars with humbuckers. It's still super easy to dial in an awesome tone with a guitar with buckers, but something about my tele's just feel and sound right with this amp. Couldn't be happier with it. The guys I played with last weekend are already asking me when I'm going to make the drive up to play with them again. They were blown away by the Ghia!

Ghia is a great sounding amp, tons of fun and it has a really nice drive to it when you crank it up, 3 o'clock should have been getting it done rather nicely. Tele + Dr Z amp = GLORIOUS Todd

Congrats on the Ghia and welcome aboard! If you need a great cable to connect those guitars to the Ghia, hit Todd with PCNS up ^^^^.
