Sound wise, did you find it wasn't easily replaced by other pedals? I missed my Skreddy Screwdriver ever since I sold it....the Xotic SL I just picked up is the first thing that might help me forget it...but it's been a year at least of missing the Skreddy. Finding the right boost or drive pedals can be maddening. So many great ones but I always found it hard to have one sound like a second channel of the amp. Anyhow, I really love that sparkle red and glad you got it back.

It’s one of the best Klon Clones out there. I know a few folks that have had Klon’s for years and no longer want to take a $1500-2000 pedal out for regular weekly gigs at the local pub.
A number of years ago before the KTR, I had a silver Klon that was a regular on my board. I was on the phone with Bill Finnegan at KlonSiberia. He liked keeping track of where his pedals were and was a super nice guy to talk tech with. Towards the end of the convo, he mentioned that he was shutting down production of his big box silver Klon’s and going to start up a new Klon with a smaller footprint called the KTR. I hadn’t seen or heard anything about this but I figured Klon’s were about to go from rare/boutique to unobtanium as Bill was stopping production and the used pedal market hadn’t realized that prices were about to jump on the silver Klons.
At the time I had one. I went online and quickly found 3 more. This was back when they were $475-500 regularly on eBay. I waited till the news broke and the prices quickly went through the roof. When I sold all of them, I ended up doubling/tripling my investment...... The RYRA is a very capable replacement.

Thanks Surreal McCoy-that's exactly what I wanted to know. I have yet to play through a Klon or one of the many "clones", but I LOVE the tone, and have always wondered what the "magic" was. Years ago I heard Warren Haynes live, he was using one, and it was sublime. Way cool. Including the Klon pedal show episode is a sweet bonus. There's nothing like being inspired by one's fellow guitar manglers.

It's been a bit since I've played with it...will likely take it to band practice this weekend to refresh my memory

I was thinking of possibly selling it again as money is super tight but...I think I'll keep it now.
