Working on a new tune.... about my squirrel friend. In the video I've dropped the lead part out and I'm jamming along live.

Well, Buddy has inspired a very tasteful arrangement.

Finally got a drummer to come jam with us.... first rehearsal working up "Buddy The Squirrel". i recorded it to basically have a record of the arrangement we'd just worked out. the addition of a solo section in the middle was totally new so i'm mostly flailing around there to fill space. i'm playing my ghia (the fender in the video was used for a small vocal monitor).

DUDE! I just realized this sounds like some music that would be playing over a mega kill scene where it is in slow motion and errybody is getting mowed down in a Quentin Tarrantino movie LOL! Such a sweet groove going on with total mayhem happening on the screen. Please have Quentin's people call my people. We'll work something out.

Cool Ian...I like it. I wish buddy the squirrel would sit on your shoulders whilst you played it, but he probably busy trying to stay alive. let us know how the Tarrantino thing works out...it would be perfect. Great summer tune for a road trip...

Last night I debuted my new trio, The Harrison Division, in front of the local guitar store during the city's spring artswalk. We also debuted Buddy The Squirrel. They provided the back line so i think I'm playing through some sort of fender Bassman head into a Peavey 4x12. Missed my Ghia for sure.

The Ghia would've sounded killer along with the Ampeg bass rig! Fun stuff, and thanks as always for sharing, Ian.

That song plays real well. It's nice to have watched its progression and see it come to fruition. Thanks for sharing.

That was great. I love the turn around/ending part and the solo was tasty. Love the drummer and bass as well. Nice trio.

I really love that song after just hearing it a few times here on this thread....That's unusual for me....Very nice, Ian! Very nice!

Most excellent ! Seeing how "Buddy" has evolved over a couple years is really interesting. Very cool song. Must be one cool squirrel. Cissy Strut popped up after Buddy ... great song title. Couldn't resist giving that a listen. Both are great songs. Well done !
