Has anyone tried this? Seems like a cool combination even though people tend to turn their nose up at reverb in front of a overdriven amp! The Z-Verb might be my next purchase!

I had a different brand tube reverb with my Ghia. Ghia sounds great with tube reverb....but I liked it best by itself.

It was called the Jule Santa Cruz ... link...they looked really cool but that's how I realized I wasn't a true reverb guy...I didn't want it bad enough to haul around the 'verb head AND I got to loving the Ghia without anything else. For or me the Ghia with a 2x10 cab with Eminence Legend 105's was the sweet spot ... I thought I needed more volume and got a Therapy...but the Ghia was my sweet spot. The Therapy is a chameleon in many ways and gets very close to what the Ghia did. But 6L6 just sound different to EL84
