I played another gig with the Z-Lux the other day, and it was so good. It sits in a big band mix so well, never strident or biting yet always a sweet presence that growls when called on. I'm loving this amp at gigs! I used an old Mesa tilt-back accessory that clamps to the rear of the amp and lets it lean back about 45 degrees. That way the sound gets up out of the backline and over the rest of the band (big jazz outfit with lots of horns) without blowing the rest of the group's (or the audience's) heads off. Love the way the amp plays with OD and wah pedals too. It's just the best little grab n go amp I've ever had. Does everything from Chicago to Sinatra to Earth Wind and Fire stuff. And more. Thanks, Z!!!

I was giving the Z-Lux so much attention my other amps got jealous. Been trying to keep 'em all happy with a little play time over the last week or so. The Z-Lux is patient: it knows I'm coming home soon

The reason it is quiet on the z-lux forum is everyone is too busy playing their z-lux to stop and write something down, I know I am.

When the Therapy forum went quiet... everybody had gone to the Z-Lux forum! So what? Is there a newer Z amp better than any other?
