...effects loop? The pic of the one on the Z site shows one, but I was wondering if it is just an option ro comes standard. Thanks!

I'm not sure what it is and what is it for?
Is it the send and return on the back on the head?

That's what it is. Plug a cord into the send and into the input of the pedal or device. The output of the pedal then plugs into the return. Now the effect is in the circuit after the preamp. It's best for chorus, flange, delay and reverb. Always pay careful attention and listen with it in the loop and then lesten with it out of the loop. There are often negative effects like loss of highs, loss of volume or hum. If it doesn't sound good in the loop don't use it.
