Here is a pic of my incoming Ghia. Of all the Z amps I have owned I've never had a Ghia. Should be here this week. All original including wood valence. Oh yea, it's got a green jewel light

Ah-ha! That looks familiar, Mike! I think you'll be pleased with it. Something about these older Ghia's... they're a little softer & warmer. Very nice--and I love the stained valence, too. Very "Dr. Z."

Very "Dr. Z." Mark is right on. I have an early 2k's Ghia and love it. It gets a lot of my gigs. I think you'll like it! So simple and full of tone!

I prefer the early ghia as well to the modern...sweet blonde. An OG GHIA would still be the coolest though huh? I'd break down for one I think.

As I posted re Lee's recent CG re-acquisition: helmi once told me "Everyone should have a Ghia". Congrats, Mike. Those green jewel lights make all the difference.
