Well, hype or no, the Z-Lux is pretty cool. Spent too short a time with one at Long&M in Halifax today. Side by side with a '65 DRRI. No comparison. The DDRI was thin and lifeless beside th Z-Lux. Now it may be different when cranked up... but I wouldn't consider the Fender based on sound at the volumes I was playing. Yeah, the Fender is less expensive, but... ME

I looked at it as my last major amp purchase. Of course I always look at it that way, but never mind that.

My Therapy was my last major amp purchase... and now I don't even realize I'm selling it (at least, trying to), in order to get the Z-Lux! But this one, I swear, will be my last (2015) major amp purchase. I've decided to change my point of vue about this: now I'd rather talk about my first major amp purchase! Way more pleasant and true. (By the way I consider my Maz 8 to be that first major amp - at least, major to me).
