Man I have got to get one of these!!! Time to start saving my pennies I guess. I've owned several Z amps but I think this is finally the one for me. I'm digging the M12, but the Lux just scratches that Fender itch!!!

I have a 414 limited that I was thinking about selling for the same purpose I've got a 2015 Model that I bought back in June. Full gloss model, which looks amazing. It caught my eye on the wall because of the grain in the Ovangkol. It was love at first strum honestly, with a nice full bodied sound that I didn't expect from a 414 body shape. Bought her on the spot. But, I've been looking for a perfect amp for years. Maybe the Lux is it, but I still haven't decided if I'm going to put the 414 up for sale or not.

It does Fender better than Fender. I loved that tone at the first note, and I dig it more every time I plug in. A Z-Lux and Z-Drive combination gives me just about any tone I could use. And it loves fuzz too! I found that out a couple of days ago when I built a fuzz (Scarab Deluxe) clone. Hello Jimi!!! Clean to nasty, the Z-Lux will deliver up the goods.

I am really wanting to try this amp. For me it sounds perfect because I love the Fender clean thing, and utilize pedals for sounds. And it sounds perfect for my needs. I primarily gig weekly with a 70's Princeton Reverb modded with heavier duty speaker, and other things to beef it up , and pretty much meets my needs. Outdoor larger stage gigs it gets a little lost. I do wish to have some more clean headroom not given by the PR, but would probably get from the Lux. I picked a great time to be in grad school and watching the dollars, but have a Maz Jr. that I like, but don't love to death, and a Ghia I really have no use for anymore to trade toward a z lux. I am bummed only one Z dealer in Michigan who isn't expecting one soon

I just pulled the trigger blind with the Z Lux and haven't looked back since. It certainly covers the Fender clean zone, but also provides a really nice driven tone. Hands down, an absolutely killer amp.

You guys aren't helping lol My Taylor is sitting there quivering with fear of being sold haha. Seriously though, if I sold my Taylor and M12 I'd have enough to get the Z Lux and get a decent acoustic to replace the Taylor....Ugh see I'm justifying it already! lol
