Watched it last night. Great flick. I used to enjoy reading Tommy Tedesco's "studio notes" column in Guitar Player back in the 70's. I think i first became aware of him as the guitarist Tommy Marranuchi on Fernwood Tonight.

I have in in my queue, but have yet to convince anyone else in my family to watch it. Fortunately (when do you ever hear *that*?), I'm unemployed, so I'm loading it up in the very near future.

My cousin was married to Hal Blaine for years. Sadly, she's the one he refers to as "Barbara the Barbarian."
However, out of that relationship, on a couple occasions I did get to meet and spend some time with him and several wrecking crew and other musicians he was touring with at the time when they came through Texas. My aunt and other cousin (Barbara's sister) used to go for extended visits in the summer where my other cousin would get to go and sit in the studio with Hal while he was working on various projects.

Very interesting period. I thought the editing could have been better.
