Z brother thatstatuemoved lives part-time in Az about 3 miles from me. On his recent trip he brought the Z-lux head he just purchased so I could take it for a drive. He had it all ready to go and paired with a 1x12 Z cab loaded with a C-gold. He plugs in and hits that first chord...there was silence, I was trying to find the words to describe that rich heavenly sound. He then continued to play, boy got some country. He offered to let me play his awesome strat, I am still in my sling for another 3-4 weeks but I had to play that strat with that amp. Please don't tell my wife or the doctor but I managed to get my arm out and played a couple of chords ( I ain't got any country). I love all my Z amps and I really love my EZG and Dote but I think this amp may be the best so far. My hat off to the Doc.
The best part was visiting with Jester. My kind of guy. I am blessed a Z brother with the greatest attitude lives (part-time) near me and soon to be full time.
I may have to sell some of my Powerlifting gear...need me some Z-lux

Surprised your wife didn't smell the tone on you. Glad you didn't get busted. Some amps just have to be heard/felt in person; it seems like the Z Lux might be one of those amps. Glad y'all had fun today, now rest up and mums the word.

Nico and I had a great time the other night. On my last visit here he was gracious enough to let me invade his man cave and play his dote, therapy, and ezg. I recently acquired a z-lux and was coming to Az so i thought it was the least I could do to let Nico try it out. I am still in awe of the amp and I think Nico liked it as well. He is still in a sling and had no business playing the guitar but he could not resist and I have to say he played quite well although he has some pain and I felt a little guilty by tempting him with the lux. We think a lot alike and it is so nice to have a Z bro here in Surprise. We even talked about trying to attend a z-fest one of these days. I am sure Nico and I will be spending time with each other and this would never had been possible without this forum. I have not met Nico's better half yet, but I hope she will not be mad at me for showing Nico the z-lux. I see one in his future someday.

Hush now. She knows you have a heavenly amp but she don't know my intentions The pain was worth it. That amp has mojo and you made it rock. Awesome strat, great pups. Plays like butter

Just got back from visiting thatstatuemoved and his Z-LUX again. Still have no words to describe that tone. Again, the best part is visiting with Jester. So humble yet a fountain of information

How bro-mantic y'all ...I'm just jealous in PDX I've been by Surprise a few times...I bet it's nice in the winter. It's hard to find friends sometimes as you get older, so it's a real testament to the bedrockers of this Forum for keeping it a place that makes for friendships....and of course Dr Z for being the grand poo ba of all this....from what I've heard of his character the friendly spirit just flows from the top down.

See, here in AZ there isn't many guys with Z's. I have met a couple that owned a Z but it was just an amp to them. To us there are many more benefits to owning a Z such as this community where we support each other even in non-Z/or any amp events. I have met with other Amp/guitar fans and if it isn't your common everyday brand of gear (Fender, marshall, peavey) then it isn't good and all it is nothing but lack of knowledge and ignorance. Do I like them brands? yeas I do but if wanting a boutique american made Amp with QA assurance, hand made and most importantly "VINTAGE TONE" at an affordable price then Z is the way to go. Obviously I found many of you that think alike here in the forum but to find one in person a few miles from me is a jackpot and on top of that a guy with values and humble. If any Z member finds themselves in the PHX area don't forget you have 2 Z brothers here in Surprise AZ.

Two of my favorite guys around here hooking up for amp time! Awesome! Thanks Todd. I appreciate that comment. Thanks to Todd I was able to acquire my first Z a while ago. I will never forget that transaction. I knew I was joining a great community then. Todd is a great ambassador for the Z brotherhood
