I just received my 25th Anni Ghia. I'm LOVIN' that bad boy. Does GREAT hard rock. I pretty much have the volume dimed (or nearly so) and the MV heavily in effect (strictly bedroom player, so 80s db range is my limit).
At the moment, I'm piggybacking off my Monza speaker, but plan on eventually getting a 1x10 cab dedicated to the C.G.
Interesting tone setup--it seems that going counterclockwise increases the treble. Regardless, I'm VERY happy.

Yeah the tone knob does opposite the usual treble, bass directions. I love the Ghia....you might consider getting a head switcher and use the CG on top the Monza with the Monza as the drive channel. Congrats!!

I'm thinking about putting my CG Anni on top of my Z28 1x10 combo w/CGold and getting a HeadBone.
And doing the same thing with my Therapy and Rati V2 with my Mesa 1x12 open back cab.

Howdy, Master volume on a Carmen Ghia? The 25th anniversary Ghia's have a post phase inverter master volume, and they were smaller like the original ones. |
