I was bored today and thought I'd mess around with my pedal board and try and figure out the compressor a little better..... So I recorded a fast, sloppy ditty. The other song was Blue Jean blues, never heard the original but wanted to play some real slow stuff over it.... so I did www.guitartest.moonfruit.com/#/drzstangray/4524185294The songs are called: Ray Country and Blue Jean blues.... the top one and the 2nd one in the middle of the page.

Nice! You have some other pretty nice stuff on that page too - if I didn't already have a 'ray I'd be looking into one right this minute.

Enjoyed it. You've found a great sweet sopt for your tone. Good clean recording. I love hearing the strings like I do on your song.

Oh and what speakers are you using these days? Speakers..... I've got a 2x12 Z cab with a 50wt Weber Alnico blue and Alnico Silver Bell. I had the Blue mic'd on both clips, I always try the Silver, but the blue ends up winning in the end for me. I recorded this in the front room,........ I didn't want to shake the walls too hard, plus I had some external noise going on in the house (day off "honey do" list) so I threw a couple of real heavy blankets over my cab and mic.... Worked really well and didn't need my attenuator.
