Hello all, I really like the "Sounds" section here at the Z forums. There is so much competition (usually) among guitar players and I find the atmosphere around here encouraging and refreshing. Anyway, I noticed that some of the Z sound files are recorded over generic "backing tracks". Nothing wrong with that, of course, but I thought it would be cool if we collaborate on some tunes as a group. I've started by recording a blues backing track. Now, someone could add a slide solo, pass it to someone else for harmonica, someone else could do vocals... Who knows. Here is the link to my tune - it's an original called "Blues in the Key of Z" and it is ready for you to jam-a-long. I'm making it available here royalty free. Even if you don't hook up with someone else here for a collaboration, feel free to put it on your computer or iPod and have fun with it. www.box.net/shared/gzv3vc9wk0Looking Forward, Eddie p.s. if you do post something with this, send me a pm so I can check it out. p.p.s. if you like it, let me know and I'll make more free tracks for the group.
