Here's a little comparo of the MOSFET FD2 (red box) at 9V versus 18V. Normal disclaimers since this just some random, sloppy noodling-- and my daughter was "helping" at times. The 18v clip is much longer because I went through some of the additional modes and I was digging the tones now that I'm back to 11s on my Zion Strat.

Hard to tell much difference from those clips, but cool that you did the comparison.
So which do you prefer, and why?

I like the 18V better on std mode, 9V better for MOSFET.
That's a little predicament, eh?

That's funny.
The 18v Standard FM sounds a lot like the 9 Mosfet FM. - more open, uncompressed, a bit stiffer.
On the last clip, did you flip the toggle from FM to Vintage for the latter part?
Nice guitar btw! Been a fan of the old ZION guitars for a long time. Like a Tom Anderson Guitar before Tom Anderson. ; )

Yes, the 18V clip had a switch from vintage to FM in there.
The 9V is all vintage, iirc. Or maybe all FM:(
