Well, my band went out and recorded a Live CD at a pretty cool club in Springfield. MO back in November, and all the post production work is finally done and the CD was released last weekend (whoo hoo)! 17 songs, 15 originals and 2 cover tunes. Even though I played my Stangray on every track, I'm not the *main* lead guitarist on this CD, although I do have a few leads. The guitars are panned hard left and hard right, and for a live CD it sounds pretty good (but I may be a bit biased). The other gutiarist is worth listening too (although his tone is not that great). Currently you can get it on my bands website at www.markchapmanband.com and it should be on iTunes by now and at CD-baby too. The CD's title is: The Mark Chapman Band - Live at the Snorty Horse Saloon. Just wanted to throw this out incase anyone is interested.... We have one song posted on our myspace, www.myspace.com/themcb and I'll probably post a montage of several songs up there for people to get a sample of what we sound like in the next day or two.

I'm guessing that's you on the left? With the tremolo effect, etc? Very nice.

Telejas, couldn't help but search you guys out on youtube to hear more of your Z tones. Guys, you really gotta check some of those rawer youtube clips out to understand just how good these cats are. While that myspace clip is nice, you guys are way tighter than that give you credit for. I really liked this one:
Hope you don't mind me posting these. Your singer has a Keith Urban thing going on. Nashville might come callin' on that boy!

Thanks guys!! Yep, I'm on the left, tremolo is my favorite effect Our lead singer is very Keith Urban-ish and he's been trying hard to shake that image for a cople of years now, but it's hard when you sound like Mr Urban.

Sounds good Jason. I might have to bring the sh$t kickers out of retirement and head west some evening.
