I know this isn't technically myself with the Dr. Z, but I though some of you might dig it anyway. Here is a live clip of the Germino Club 40 using my Strat and a few pedals. It's a head going through a Germino open back 2x12 cab with Celestion Heritage G12H's which at this time were not completely broken in. My friend actually made a collage of a few of the solos from that night. It's from a corporate gig with a funk cover band that I sat in on with no rehearsals so please forgive the mistakes but it should give you an idea of how the amp takes high gain. It also was my first gig with the amp and cabinet so please forgive me if the tones are a little off sometimes. Rig: Germino Club 40 with SS rectifier, Germino Open Back 2x12 cab with Heritage G12H speakers. Guitar: Fender Custom Shop '69 Strat strung with 11 Gauge wire. Pedals were Picture wah > MJM Blues Devil>>MI Audio Crunch Box>>Klon Centaur>>Ultravibe>>RC Booster. 1st solo: Crunchbox into Ultravibe into RC Booster 2nd solo: Crunchbox and RC Booster(RC set for clean or volume boost)No gain added by RC just louder. 3rd solo: Picture Wah into MJM Blues devil into Crunchbox. Maybe RC booster on as well? 4th solo: Crunchbox into Klon Centaur(klon set for dirty and level boost) Interesting how the Klon actually takes away some gain and adds P-H-A-T-Ness and punch. www.myspace.com/aruntangor www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=490637
