Our band has been working on some tunes and we just uploaded them on our myspace page. We may go back in and do some more editing/mixing but we thought they were good enough to let people listen. All guitar parts are Ghia with Weber Blue/Silver ceramics with an occasional push from a 19Sixty3 boost pedal. Let me know what you think! Steve Helms Band

Those are some great songs and I really like the tasty licks, I can't get over the tone your getting with the Ghia, now I know I gotta get one of those little monsters! If this is the unfinished product I'd love to hear them when they are done!! BTW Thanks for the Ghia G.A.S (Like I didn't already have a bad case for this amp anyway!) [glow=limegreen,2,300]-J-[/glow] Thanks The Ghia is awesome, period...best amp I've ever owned. The tunes are pretty much done, the only changes would be minor tweaking here/there, EQ, levels, etc. BTW...on the slide tune, the tone has been modified during editing...the engineer did something to make it a lot grungier sounding. I have mixed feelings on it. All the other guitar tracks are pretty much "as is" with just some slight EQ enhancement to bring it out in the mix.

I really like these these tunes! Very catchy. Your playing is very tasteful and the tones are great. You have that Ghia dialed in nicely for all the songs. Great fills and licks. The whole band smokes. I'm LMAO on the You Make Me Look Fat! THAT is country all the way! Your slide tone is reminiscent of Joe Walsh's slide work on JG Rides Again (Bomber / Closet Queen). Did the engineer compress it to add the grain? I dig the playing of the band as a whole but you do some fantastic playing with great tone!

RC...uZ a badazz my friend ;^)
Digin' em.
Your vocals remind me a bit of Skikky Raggs ala Hwy 40 blues.
BTW, I got our 11 songs from Mastering this morning..off to duplication and perhaps we can get the CD available before the end of the year.

Everything I heard makes me proud to live in Texas. Great music, catchy lyrics and the guitar playing is on the money!
Now I have to go an figure out how to make my Ghia sound that sweet.
