With apologies to Jimi - the clip that frank9310 put up here got me reminiscing about one of my favorite players. This is the RXES on one side and the Stingray on the other. Grosh Bent Top Custom (neck & middle Fralin Blues Specials on 6) > Radial JX-2 Radial JX-2 out1 > RXES > Airbrake (Bedroom Max) > Celestion Alnico Gold Radial JX-2 out2 > Stingray > Airbrake (-4 clicks) > Celestion Alnico Gold Reverb added in Sound Forge RXES/WindCriesMary.mp3

Sweet work. I think that had to be one of my top five Jimi songs. What adds to the listening fun was my Windows Media Player doing all this psychodelic stuff in the window.
You had a great tone range with your guitar - nothing was garbled or lost.

Steve, thanks for all of your clips. I've been listening to the Maz GT vs the SRZ and RXES stuff alot lately, and your comparisons are superb.
This is one of my favorite songs of all time. I even like the Johnny A version.

Thanks guys - hard to imagine that the RXES is set exactly the same as those clips where I was playing all that high gain stuff. Just rolled the guitar down to 6 is all - talk about a very cool amp.

Ahhhhh, Steve - my absolute favorite Jimi. And, as usual, you did it great justice with your interpretation and tone.
As I think I told you at PNW Z-Event, I really appreciate all of your sound clip contributions (even if I don't comment on each one).
And thanks for the kind feedback on our band as well!
Cheers, Blair
