Here's a live recording from my band a couple weeks ago playing Bill Withers "Use Me" (a little rocked up)...My singer is playing the main riff on my Mesa Mark V while his amp is "in the shop", I'm doing the harmonizing guitar and the lead. Guitar is an Am Tele with a Texas Special in the neck (Lindy Fralin Blues Sp in the bridge, but I don't use the bridge here). Was plugged into my pedalboard and using my Paisley Drive, a very faint delay and Bud Wah into the Z-Wreck with the volume about 10:00 (and 2 clicks down on the Brake Lite). *Obligatory - "Ignore the sloppy lead" comment here soundcloud.com/tele_jas/southern-green-use-me-by-bill-withers

I like it. Great job! Pretty tight stuff. My previous band used to cover that tune. Definitely a fun one to do.

I dig Bill Withers, big time--that dude has SOUL. Kudos for covering his stuff... it shows you know good music!
