Hahaha. I've played it in one guitar that I bought on eBay for $300. The neck turned out to be an original 1959 tele neck. The body was a 94 made in Japan, no name neck humbucker, and this bridge pickup. It sounds amazing. The guy I bought it from had no clue that the neck was a 59. I didn't know until I took it apart after I bought it.

I'm sure there are some able-minded folk on this forum that will tell us the "skinny" on this pickup. Wish I could help.

Doesn't look like a 50's to me. The wires look a little new , the solder joints are nicely rounded ( didn't see that too much on originals) has an extra ground wire and the tape on the coil should be a waxed black string wrapped around it. Just my take on it looking at picture FWIW.

Theres an awful lot of guys making pickups these days. Do you like how it sounds?

Do you like how it sounds? yeah. It sounds amazing. The tele that it came in had an original 1959 neck. That's what led me to believe that it may be old.

Pretty cool , I've had a couple of "Frankencasters" that were made up of various '50s parts and some new parts. They can be awesome players!
