Ain't much, but I thought it sounded fairly decent through the house PA. The camera either ran out of battery or memory (right before the solo...damn!!) but it is what it is. My humble contribution.

Very nice indeed Pat.
Running any boxes on that clip?
I stand by the JR being THE Ace club amp of this time period.

That is a great clip...nice playing ........thanks for sharing. The JR is such an awesome "plug in and go" amp...... what more could you want for tone?

Nice playing a great blues tones! I hail from KY too, now in North Carolina. Been to Stevie Ray's a few times. I used to frequent Phoenix Hill, Butchertown, Headliners, etc. Louisville doesn't always get the credit it deserves as a great music town.

Very nice indeed Pat. Running any boxes on that clip? I stand by the JR being THE Ace club amp of this time period. Curt, I have an OCD on my meager little board and it's usually on when I pull out the Strat, but I can't swear to it being used here. I had the guitar volume rolled way back until solo time....too bad it didn't make the clip....I was killin'. With a handle like supafuzz...I'll bet I know you. 50/50 chance you've lived in Danville, too...which would make your initials "D.A." (I think the D is right, anyway) or possibly "C.L."? Am I close?

Uncle Pat -
Awesome tone and playing. The Jr. sounds great!
Do you recall your amp settings?
Thanks.

Hey diz... I had to go to the basement to check. I played another gig after that, so the settings may have changed slightly. The 2nd room was boomy, so the bass was probably rolled off a little more than what you heard on this clip.... Vol 2PM Treb 11:30 Mid 9:30 to 10 Bass 8:30 Master 11:00 Cut 10:30 to 11:00....this varies between 9 for Strats and 1PM for my Les Paul most of the time. Thanks for the kind words, too. And that goes for all of ya's.

Wow, thanks again everyone. Our singer is pretty special...at the end of the night there's usually nothing left. Our original stuff has a more Janis Joplin/Bonnie Bramlett-like feel to it, and she really belts em'. Throws that hair all around the place too....lotsa' fun to play with her. Wish I had some of that to post. Maybe next time!

Thanks a lot Paul. I guess having a little camera around should become a regular thing with us. Never know when some reasonably cool stuff might get captured.

Is this you ripping on the LP too? Wow...that's a smokin tone there. The strat tones are nice, but I really dig this LP through the MazJr. tone. Nice playing!

Is this you ripping on the LP too? Yeah that's me with the Les Paul (an '05 Standard). This is so weird...I thought this thread had died a long time ago. ;D We're playing that same restaurant gig this coming weekend. I'll have the Maz Jr, but I would really like to try the Z-28 in there if I can. It's an acoustically horrible room to play (and loud...we only mic the kick drum), but hopefully somebody will grab a few minutes of something that I can post.
