I was just playing mine last night with some jam along tracks. Someone is going to get a great deal if the price stays down like it is.

Anyone know if there are any clips of this version? Here's some but they are mixed with the Monza
You've got a Monza too though so that's why I gave you the link I'll get some of JUST the Mini this weekend and get them posted. It sounds just like a Ghia however the taper of the knobs seems like you can use more extreme settings than my '09 version (green jewel lit ). Sorta seems like it stays clean at a higher headroom than my other head. I've got a red one but the black one is super cool looking to me !!!

A couple summers ago, Doc brought the prototype Mini Ghia to Michigan Z-Fest and we compared it using a Radial Heabone with my standard ghia head (through a G12 Blue). With the master turned fully up, the differences in overall gain & volume of the 2 amps was indistinguishable. However, likely due to varying tapers of the potentiometers, the knobs didn't always point in exactly the same direction when we got the sounds matched up in the middle-zone between quiet and loud.

My Brother-in-Law visited this past Xmas. He has a field day in my basement ! I have this to choose from.... He chose this for the time he was here (Ghia LE w/ Doc's 2x10s). He summed it up as "...that's audio Nirvana right there...."...Jus' Sayin'

ESPECIALLY at "bedroom volumes" (which I define as mid 80s decibels to 90 or so)? Would you think that my Monza would be better suited? I NEVER play clean, and only use Gibson humbuckers (Burstuckers 1 & 2, Classic '57s, and my all-time faves: 490/498)

I'm pretty sure the Monza will cover that 70's hard rock stuff...I use mine with P90's so I'm kinda not sure what humbuckers sound like...maybe more clear I'd imagine. I love the 25th Anni Cleans...seem a little more clear than the old script logo one I had, the master volume of the Anni seems to work mostly when the amp is cranked up and you want to lighten it up volume wise so that it doesn't feel quite so loud or to preserve cleans at a little higher volume. Also thanks for listening and liking. My secret confession here is that I think I've become a Monza first guy these days.
