Had another gig last night....used the Ghia combo 1x10.
It may be the cheapest amp in the Doc's lineup, but in no way does it skimp on tone. Just an amazing amp. So tone-full and dynamic. And small and light too!
So to all of you 'knob tweakers' who feel they must have a three channeled amp with 2 dozen knobs on the front....just put both Ghia knobs at noon and put more effort into your fingertips. You'll be glad you did.

If there's a sound that's not in there I don't want it!

Its probably no small coincidence that my two amps (Ghia + Swart AST) are both 2 knob amps. Yes, I realize I'm leaving out the reverb, depth and speed knobs on the AST - we're talking tone stack here! I've got certain settings for each guitar, but that's about it. I play music, not knobs. Of course, I'm about to **** that all up my getting a Remedy.

The Ghia is the "go to amp"

Ghia rocks! Such a great little box of tone.
To your point one of my closest friends has been through the Mesa line up top to bottom and now has a multi channel boutique amp. But every time he comes over he pulls out the Ghia and is amazed at the tone. Very possibly his next amp purchase.

Everyone should own one (especially since they are so cheap!) If you find a better small club gigging amp, you got a really good sound going on, so rock on!

Ghia was my first Z amp. Everyone should own one. There are certainly some steals out there on used ones. That's how I bought mine. Possibly my best gear related purchase ever. Sounds so heavenly.

Could some of you Ghia guys chime in with some insight on my post? I need some insight pretty quick. Don't know if I'm allowed to post a link to my thread on another so if not just remove it. I'm looking at a killer deal on an old (90s I think) Ghia 1x12 combo.Supposed to go check it out soon and I have the money. Just need to be schooled a little on the older ones. This one doesn't look like any I've seen (I'm sure it's just because it's older and I have seen many in the first place). It's a 1x12 combo with a WGS Green Beret and the cab is taller and slimmer than the newer ones look (but I haven't seen it in person yet). There's pics and more info in the thread, any help would be greatly appreciated. Here's the link: ztalk.proboards.com/thread/66130/older-ghia-combos

I play a tele into a 1999 Ghia 1×12 combo with a Celestion greenback and.....LOVE IT!! I play in a modern counrty band and the Ghia gets all the gigs. For that price you can't pass it up! It is the loudest 18 watts you will ever play! It will have enough clean headroom and take all over your drive and modulation pedals with ease. And when you get to run the volume up to 2-3 o'clock on the dial....you will be in for a real treat!! If you have any doubts, leave them behind. Go ahead and buy the Ghia now...see for yourself what the "Z" is all about!
