I have been a member on here since 2008 but this is my first post. Must be some kind of record! I just took delivery on my new Carmen Ghia 1x10 combo and man I am stoked! I forgot how good these Dr Z amps sound. I have owned a Maz 18 JR and a Z-28 head with 2x10 cab, but sold both because I kinda stopped playing and needed the money for other things. The Ghia will be used at home and occasionally go out when I play with some friends. I play older country and classic rock so I thought the Ghia would be about perfect. I wanted to thank everyone on here since you all helped with my decision and gave me the GAS! Thanks Bob

Must be close to a record for a first time poster! Try not to wait as long for your second one!

jb it has the stock Z speaker which is sounding pretty good to me. I also have a Brake Lite, but really haven't used it much yet. I have only had it for a week so I am still learning what the Ghia can do. Bob

Must be close to a record for a first time poster! Try not to wait as long for your second one! Sometimes it takes a long time to come out of the closet and admit we have an addiction to the Dr's amps!

O Ghia you beautiful little circuits and wires and knobs and sounds....O Ghia you beautiful machine of imagination release....O Ghia you turn me on, I turn you on, we turn on the world.
My favorite amp of all time. At first we wonder what the Ghia can do, but later we wonder what it can't do. Congrats and welcome to the talking side of the forum.

Hmmm. A Grand Pause at zero posts. Interesting.
I was just playing my Les Paul through my Ghia. Love that creamy sound with the P-90s.

I'm amazed how good this amp sounds just by itself! All the great sounds with just guitar, cable and Ghia. Been working on a small pedal board, but I think all I'll really need is a tuning pedal. Bob

Cool, cool amp. The Ghia is on my bucket list but I think I'm going to get a Monza first. It's a tough choice, isn't it?
