Could the admins do a sticky of a list of the reputable tube dealers that everyone here likes to purchase from? Please add your favorite.

* KCA NOS * The Tube Store * Eurotubes (only for JJ brand tubes) * NBS Electronics (owned by Willie Whitaker aka "Lord Valve) I have not dealt with him for a few years but he used to be my "go to source" for NOS tubes. A limited selection but extremely well tested and burnt-in. Located in Denver. NBS stands for "No Bull S**t".

I've done the Tube Store for mine but always want to try KCA or Doug's because everyone here like 'em too. Never heard of NBS but they sound great because I don't like BS either.

KCA NOS Tubes (Mike is super knowledgeable & helpful), Tube Depot, and Doug's Tubes. I think I've bought from all 3 by now.
TheTubeStore also seems to have some nice resources (you can pick your Z-amp and it'll give you an entire tube package) but I've never bought from them--mostly because of the positive feedback of the above 3, so I didn't need a 4th.

I've re-tubed 4 Z amps from the Tube Store within the last year; no problems, prompt service.

+1 on the Tube Store. Antique Electronic Supply is one I've used with good results as well.

I have purchased from Mesa Boogie prior to having a Dr Z. (Limited selection; and not sure where the tubes come from) I ordered from the Tube Store recently. (Great selection and speedy shipping)
Great service with either place.

I'm pretty sure Mesa tubes are from Ruby. I've had excellent results with Mesa tubes in Mesa amps for 30+ years. I generally stick with the tubes that the designers built the amp's circuit on. So for my Mesa's, it's their tubes all the way…..same for my Zs….I stick with what the Doc built 'em on.

KCA NOS for me. I called Mike and he was super helpful. Great prices and selection as well. Will certainly continue to purchase my tubes through him.

I mainly use Mike, Doug and Brent. They all have knowledge but for nos I use Brent mainly because he has good prices and lots of tubes. They all have good customer service and will trade the tubes out if a bad one is sent.

Have been using Doug since he opened his business. Have also used Mike K.'s services for years.
But nobody has the selection of NOS tubes that Gregg at HiTest has. Just unreal inventory if you are seeking NOS. I've bought a couple things from him and the purchase went off without a hitch.

In addition to already mentioned Hi Test and KCA NOS, I've also used Vintage Tube Services vintagetubeservices.com/. All three are great and stand behind their tubes, but I never got a bad one from them.

Have dealt with KCA, Doug's, Tube Store and Antique Electronics. When looking for NOS, I've usually gone to KCA.

KCA and Hi-Test for NOS tubes (was actually able to get a couple of Dario Mini Watt EF86's from hi test).
NBS Electronics for power tubes (his JJ EL84's are super burned in and I have had great success with them).

I have to give props to the ole tube store...got some ? matched tubes from outfit that seemed reputable/noisy within days...really needed these to work too,65.00 bucks flushed down the craper...going back to the tube store...there quad/jj's were nicely matched...perfectly packed...like someone gave a s#*t...just got to go with what works for you and your amp

Man... I have to give the ole tube store another pat on the back...had some noise coming from another quad of jj's...
They told me no problem you've tried them for a while and remembered my conversation...sending me new tighter tolerances set, higher rating...say's make sure these will work then send in old tubes...KOOL stuff
